I know how hard it is to trust anyone on the internet, it's almost unheard of. You are the one that has to decide what you want out of life. All I can do with my experience is teach. You know the old saying, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it.I have owned and operated my own companies for just over 35 years, starting at the age of 17. My first company became one of the largest limousine and airport shuttle van companies in Southern California with 12 stretched limos, 42 airport vans and over 138 employees. We catered to movie stars, recording artist and corporate accounts. Due to a bitter divorce the company was sold off.
Soon after, I started a photography studio that specialized in weddings, portraits and special events. We averaged 300 weddings per year with 9 photographers. I have taken pictures of the late George Burns, Ringo Star, Heather Locklear, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Tony Bennett, John Stamos, Farrah Fawcett, Jackie Mason, Tommy Lasorda, Tiffani Amber Thiessen and many more.
With the success of these companies I was able to afford two Rolls Royce Silver Clouds, a Bentley S3, a 750i BMW, a three story beach condo in San Clemente, California, a hot Formula offshore boat, a 6500 sq ft custom English Tudor home with a private runway in the wine country of Temecula, California and most recently a 85 foot, 6 bedroom houseboat and 5 lake properties on Kentucky Lake.
What does all of this success mean, only that I have the knowledge of how to succeed with starting companies. Then in 2001 my 14 year old son was in a motorcross accident and suffered permanent brain damage, my life changed forever. I gave the photography company to a devoted employee of 20 years, loaded up our personal items and furniture in two eighteen wheelers and moved to one of the slowest, least populated and family oriented parts of the country, Western Kentucky.
I decided my new goal in life was to help people looking to start their own business and take control of their life. To help people tired of living paycheck to paycheck, trading their time for money and just knowing there had to be something better out there. Why you ask yourself am I doing this. It's my way of paying back for my son's life, by all accounts he should not be with us today.
The opportunity that I am going to share with you came at a time when I decided work proved more fulfilling than retirement. I saw it on the cover of a magazine while browsing at a local bookstore. I researched the company and we joined their team in September, 2007. If this business was available when I started my business career I would have been retired by age 30.
